This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Ensure the precision and integrity of designated balance sheet accounts by conducting prompt reconciliations and addressing any discrepancies.
• Prepare and document monthly journal entries, which include accruals, prepaids, allocations, foreign currency (FX) gain/loss entries, and other necessary adjustments.
• Analyze and provide explanations for variances in various line items on monthly and year-to-date financial statements as assigned.
• Offer support to the Accounting Manager and Controller throughout the year on diverse financial projects, inquiries, analyses, and the annual financial audit.
• Act as an Accounting Partner and advisor to managers of designated departments and programs.
• Complete various assigned audit schedules, reports, and year-end adjusting entries as required.
• Review and authorize payment requests for the assigned departments and programs.
• Research and maintain up-to-date knowledge of GAAP standards to ensure accurate reporting of various matters.
• Develop and refine processes to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of current procedures.
• Oversee special projects as assigned.
• A minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
• Experience in multi-currency accounting is preferred.
• Familiarity with accounting software is required; Certinia experience is preferred.
• Bachelor’s and/or master’s degree in accounting.
