Senior Accountant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal.

📋 Description

• Engage in month-end closing procedures, which include the preparation of journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and month-end accruals in compliance with US GAAP.

• Conduct account analysis on fluctuations in various balance sheet and income statement accounts from period to period.

• Support the development of various schedules that aid in our financial statement preparation and annual audit.

• Provide assistance with international accounting as needed.

• Work collaboratively across departments to guarantee accurate and comprehensive general ledger activity and appropriate classification in the financial statements.

• Review accounts payable invoices and collaborate with the accounts payable team to ensure correct accounting treatment and classification.

• Assist with special projects for the Corporate Controller and Assistant Controller as they arise.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in accounting or finance is required.

• Prior experience as a Senior Accountant is beneficial.

• A minimum of 3 years of accounting experience.

• Familiarity with US GAAP.

• Must be organized and detail-oriented.
