Senior Accountant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Montenegro, +5 more countries.

📋 Description

• Oversee the complete accounting process for specific legal entities within the Group.

• Assist in the monthly closing process for consolidated IFRS accounts in SAP.

• Verify the accuracy and completeness of the stand-alone accounts closing for all Group companies.

• Reconcile account balances with external counterparts, including payment systems and vendors.

• Reconcile turnover and balances with other internal systems.

• Reconcile intercompany turnover and balances.

• Address and resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities.

• Ensure compliance of consolidated financial reporting with internal policies, procedures, and deadlines.

• Prepare monthly consolidated and project reporting packages for management and shareholders.

• Liaise with service providers concerning reporting and tax compliance.

• Provide comprehensive support for audits of consolidated and standalone financial statements across various jurisdictions.

• Manage auditors' requests related to consolidated financial audits.

• Offer explanations and supplementary documents as needed.

• Review suggested audit adjustments.

• Address ad-hoc requests from management and other departments.

⛳️ Requirements

• Higher education in economics and/or accounting.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience as an IFRS manager or financial manager with consolidation responsibilities.

• Familiarity with SAP B1 and 1C accounting systems is a plus.

• Proficiency in English at B2 level or higher.

• Experience in the Forex industry is a significant advantage.

• Relevant certifications (ACCA, CPA, CIMA, etc.) are also beneficial.
