Senior Accountant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.

📋 Description

• Effectively manage a portfolio of small businesses and SMEs.

• Review accounting documentation leading to the preparation of annual financial statements.

• Prepare balance sheets as well as income statements.

• Create tax packages.

• Complete tax filings, especially for VAT and corporate income tax returns.

• Offer clients daily assistance in managing their accounting needs.

• Address operational challenges faced by clients.

• Clearly explain financial figures to those without expertise.

• Provide guidance to clients on business management and strategy.

• Collaborate closely with support and technology teams.

• Ensure the quality and compliance of accounting records.

• Occasionally assist in enhancing the skill sets of the team.

• Utilize automated tools for document collection, bank synchronization, intelligent transaction recognition, and automated bookkeeping.

• Demonstrated experience in accounting.

• Capability to independently manage a portfolio of small businesses and SMEs.

• Expertise in reviewing accounting files through to the preparation of annual financial statements.

• Proficiency in preparing balance sheets and income statements.

• Skilled in preparing tax packages.

• Proficient in tax filings, particularly VAT and corporate income tax returns.

• Ability to assist clients with their accounting management.

• Skill in explaining financial figures clearly to non-experts.

• Ability to provide clients with advice on managing and guiding their business.

• Experience working with support and technology teams.

• Dedication to ensuring the quality and compliance of accounting records.
