Senior Accountant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Generate monthly management reports, financial statements, and management packages.

• Conduct variance analysis while offering clear financial insights and recommendations.

• Oversee the month-end and year-end closing procedures.

• Ensure adherence to Australian tax laws and reporting obligations.

• Maintain precise accrual accounting records and perform reconciliations.

• Assist with inventory accounting functions, including stocktakes and inventory reporting.

• Evaluate financial data to facilitate informed business decisions.

• Collaborate closely with stakeholders to enhance reporting precision and financial processes.

• Effectively utilize ERP and accounting software, including MYOB Advanced/Acumatica and XERO.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in a senior accounting position.

• Robust background in management reporting and financial analysis.

• Experience in inventory-focused businesses.

• Comprehensive understanding of Australian tax regulations and accounting standards.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel at an advanced level.

• Familiarity with ERP systems like MYOB Advanced/Acumatica and XERO.

• Strong knowledge of accrual accounting principles.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.

• Capable of producing detailed financial commentary and reporting insights.
