Senior Accountant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee and facilitate the month-end and year-end closing processes.

• Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations with a high level of accuracy.

• Analyze financial data and probe into discrepancies or variances.

• Maintain and enhance accounting processes, controls, and documentation.

• Assist with accruals, prepaid expenses, fixed assets, and various general ledger activities.

• Collaborate cross-functionally with teams such as FP&A, Revenue Operations, and Payroll.

• Aid in responding to audit requests and fulfilling external reporting requirements.

• Support billing, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and other operational accounting tasks as necessary.

• Help streamline workflows and reporting within NetSuite and associated systems.

• Ensure adherence to internal accounting policies and procedures.

• Participate in special projects and initiatives aimed at process improvement in a rapidly growing SaaS environment.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• A minimum of 5 years of accounting experience is required.

• Experience in the SaaS industry is strongly preferred.

• CPA certification is preferred, though not mandatory.

• Strong skills in reconciliation and general ledger management are required.

• Experience in a fast-paced, high-growth setting is essential.

• Ability to juggle multiple priorities and adapt to evolving business needs.

• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational capabilities.

• Outstanding communication and teamwork skills.

• Advanced proficiency in Excel is preferred.

• Experience with NetSuite, Salesforce, and Airbase systems is strongly preferred.
