Senior Accountant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Responsible for the accounting and reporting related to payroll, employee benefits, and payments to contracted medical providers.

• Prepare journal entries for payroll, accruals, reconciliations, and accounting activities related to benefits, supporting the monthly closing process.

• Maintain oversight of payroll and benefit liabilities, insurance-related expenses, and the processing of provider payments.

• Ensure that all transactions are recorded accurately and in a timely manner.

• Play a vital role in upholding compliance with GAAP and internal policies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting.

• 7-10+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally in both public accounting and corporate settings.

• Strong understanding of GAAP and best practices for internal controls.

• Proficient in accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks) and possess advanced Excel skills.

• Excellent analytical skills, meticulous attention to detail, and effective problem-solving abilities.

• Strong communication skills with the capability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
