Senior Accountant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the complete accounting cycle for Daos Hub’s rapidly growing, international operations.

• Establish order within a dynamic environment while ensuring adherence to UAE tax regulations.

• Oversee intricate multi-currency and cryptocurrency cash flows, and develop scalable financial processes.

• Keep thorough, accurate, and timely records in Xero/ERP systems, strictly following IFRS and company policies.

• Ensure full compliance with UAE VAT and Corporate Tax mandates, prepare FTA tax submissions, and manage banking correspondence.

• Facilitate and monitor both local and international payments through various banking platforms, payment systems, and corporate card management tools.

• Conduct complex reconciliations for banks, intercompany accounts, and balance sheets; supervise cash flow fulfillment and reporting.

• Monitor and manage the introduction and depreciation of fixed assets; oversee end-to-end payment requests in Jira.

⛳️ Requirements

• 4-7+ years of experience in full-cycle accounting, financial reporting, or financial controlling.

• Strong practical knowledge of international tax frameworks and cross-border compliance, including multi-country VAT/sales tax regulations, transfer pricing fundamentals, and local corporate tax standards.

• Preferred experience in navigating global financial regulations and managing entity reporting across various jurisdictions.

• Profound understanding of IFRS; advanced skills in Xero (or QuickBooks/Zoho) and Excel/Google Sheets. Experience with managing workflows in Jira is highly desirable.

• Exceptional attention to detail, a strong sense of self-organization, and the capacity to work independently in a fast-paced setting.
