This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania, +1 more state.
• Assist in the management of assigned accounts by effectively handling contracts and identifying up-sell/cross-sell opportunities.
• Actively engage with existing client contacts to discover new business prospects.
• Organize client and internal kickoff meetings, create insightful proposals, and deliver strategic sales communications.
• Consult with clients on sample design and various business challenges.
• Deliver exceptional customer service by collaborating with Project Managers and Research Managers to fulfill project specifications and achieve quality outcomes for clients.
• Address sales or delivery concerns in conjunction with client and Operations teams.
• Oversee bid requests, ensuring they are delivered accurately and on time.
• Work with partners and vendors to guarantee smooth project execution.
• Serve as the intermediary between Sales and Project Managers on all projects.
• Engage in light travel (potentially alongside a sales VP) to facilitate on-site client visits and generate new business by showcasing capabilities.
• Maintain personal sales quota while fulfilling the above responsibilities.
• Proficient in using the CRM (HubSpot) to record all sales activities, including calls, bids, and meetings.
• Capable of effectively progressing a project through the deal cycle and managing the pipeline using HubSpot.
• Generates, maintains, and shares well-crafted, informed Account Plans with internal teams.
• Takes complete responsibility for individual revenue, gross profit, and sales objectives.
• Able to provide an accurate sales forecast on a weekly and monthly basis upon request.
• Possesses an understanding of research methods and methodologies.
• Recognizes client objectives and can advise on the available service/product options.
• Communicates confidently when presenting a bid to clients.
• Proactively guides clients regarding compliance matters.
• Collaborates effectively with other internal teams to enhance client outcomes.
• Enhances client service while also ensuring a healthy gross profit margin.
• Proactively manages critical client discussions and supports Operations in project delivery.
