This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Zealand.
• Act as the main contact for designated accounts, fostering robust and lasting client relationships.
• Maintain consistent communication to grasp client needs, priorities, and forthcoming opportunities.
• Propel revenue growth through proactive prospecting, lead generation, and opportunity cultivation.
• Focus on approximately 80% group business and 20% transient (third-party) business.
• Identify and implement upsell, cross-sell, and market share growth opportunities.
• Create and execute sales strategies and action plans tailored to individual accounts.
• Represent the client's portfolio as a preferred partner through deep product knowledge and service excellence.
• Engage in industry events, sales calls, and market outreach activities.
• Oversee contract renewals and negotiated agreements to facilitate retention and long-term growth.
• Address and resolve client issues professionally, escalating when necessary.
• Keep precise records of sales activities, pipeline, and account interactions in Salesforce.
• Ensure CRM data, forecasts, and reporting are current and comply with company standards.
• Maintain a current Outlook calendar that reflects meetings, travel, and commitments.
• Manage expenses and documentation in accordance with company guidelines.
• Collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders across various teams.
• Adhere to the client's policies, processes, and governance standards.
• Exhibit flexibility to meet business requirements, including non-standard hours.
• Analyze trends, risks, and opportunities across accounts and markets.
• Assess performance using revenue metrics and commercial indicators.
• Refine sales strategies based on insights, client feedback, and market dynamics.
• Prepare and deliver performance updates and recommendations to internal stakeholders.
• 3–5 years of experience in hospitality or travel industry sales, account management, or business development.
• Familiarity with group and transient third-party business is preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to generate, manage, and convert sales opportunities across various market segments.
• Strong selling, negotiation, and presentation skills with the capacity to influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Proficient in establishing and maintaining professional relationships through in-person meetings, email, video conferencing, and phone interactions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, complemented by a professional appearance and demeanor.
• Self-motivated, enthusiastic, and results-oriented, with a strong sense of personal accountability.
• Solid analytical skills to evaluate performance and identify revenue growth prospects.
• Highly organized with strong administrative, time-management, and multitasking abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, WebEx, and Zoom.
• Experience using Salesforce or a similar CRM system.
