This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Support and enhance formulary access, readiness of protocols and order sets, discharge pathway assistance, and demand generation in targeted hospital accounts.
• Engage with Infectious Disease physicians, hospitalists, pharmacists, case management teams, discharge planners, and IDN decision-makers to boost sales.
• Create, implement, and execute comprehensive territory business plans.
• Manage relationships with hospitals while understanding customer needs and priorities.
• Provide scientific and clinical insights related to the disease state and approved products.
• Deliver sales presentations to physicians, APPs, medical staff, and other clinical personnel.
• Optimize customer engagement by managing resources effectively.
• Collaborate with Organized Provider Account Directors, Reimbursement Managers, and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Meet and surpass sales targets within the designated territory.
• Achieve formulary wins and convert market access successes into prescribing and utilization.
• Lead discussions with stakeholders regarding patient identification, treatment selection, IV-to-oral transitions, discharge readiness, and reducing readmissions.
• Facilitate collaboration with nurse navigators, discharge planners, case managers, and specialty pharmacy partners.
• Identify and tackle barriers that impact product adoption.
• Plan activities to meet call metrics and enhance customer coverage and frequency.
• Conduct educational programs, in-services, speaker programs, and compliant scientific discussions.
• Analyze utilization trends, customer insights, market dynamics, sales activities, and territory performance.
• Develop territory plans alongside the Regional Sales Director, brand team, and support partners.
• Manage the territory budget and handle administrative responsibilities.
• Participate in training and development initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with corporate and industry policies and procedures.
• BA/BS degree from an accredited institution.
• A valid driver's license.
• Over 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical, medical, or biotech sectors.
• More than 3 years of experience engaging with hospitals and health systems.
• Familiarity with hospital decision-making processes, clinical pathways, formulary management, and antimicrobial stewardship programs.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% within the assigned geographic area, including overnight travel.
• Capability to lift and/or move up to 35 pounds.
• A consistent track record of top-tier sales performance and successful product launches.
• Proven success in driving demand generation within hospital settings.
• Experience in anti-infective products is preferred.
• Proficiency in account selling and managing intricate sales processes.
• Comprehensive understanding of the Health Systems business model, organizational structure, key stakeholder roles, and decision-making processes.
• Experience engaging with specialist physicians, hospitalists, pharmacists, and pharmacy leadership.
• Experience collaborating across both hospital and community care environments.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Skill in analyzing data and trends to formulate actionable business plans.
• Flexibility and adaptability to evolving market conditions.
• Proven ability to comply with regulatory, legal, and compliance standards.
• Exceptional presentation and selling abilities, combined with strong business acumen.
