This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oklahoma.
• Act as the main point of contact and a trusted advisor for designated complex or strategic accounts
• Lead the planning of strategic accounts and foster client relationships
• Examine claims, utilization, financial, and reporting data to uncover trends, risks, and opportunities for cost containment
• Create consultative strategies to tackle intricate business, service, and plan-performance challenges
• Serve as a resource for escalating complex client issues
• Collaborate with internal teams, carriers, vendors, and partners to develop impactful solutions
• Offer guidance and mentorship to Account Executives
• Recognize client risks, service trends, and opportunities to enhance satisfaction and retention
• Oversee account deliverables, reporting, documentation, and continuous communication
• Provide consultative insights on industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory changes impacting self-funded health plans and TPA services
• Lead and assist with complex renewals, proposals, client reviews, and strategic account initiatives
• Utilize Relation's proprietary AI solutions, reporting tools, and automation to enhance analysis, client service, and operational efficiency
• Execute other assigned projects, duties, and responsibilities
• High School Diploma or equivalent is required
• A four-year degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Communications, or a related field is preferred
• At least 7 years of progressively responsible experience in account management, client services, relationship management, or a related customer-facing role within healthcare, employee benefits, insurance, or TPA operations
• Experience in managing complex or strategic client relationships
• Preferred experience in healthcare TPA, self-funded plans, employee benefits, or managed care settings
• Knowledge of claims analysis, utilization reporting, healthcare cost-containment strategies, and relevant regulatory requirements is preferred
• Experience in supporting complex renewals, proposals, business reviews, client reporting, and account growth initiatives is preferred
• Advanced knowledge of self-funded health plans, TPA operations, and client service workflows
• Proven experience in managing complex client relationships and addressing escalated client issues
• Demonstrated ability to analyze and interpret claims, utilization, and reporting data, translating findings into strategic recommendations for clients
• Proven capability to mentor and guide colleagues while ensuring consistent service delivery
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and relationship management abilities
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and experienced with reporting tools, systems, or CRM platforms
• Ability to adapt to new technologies and applications
