This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• ZeroFox is dedicated to safeguarding the integrity of what is real by eliminating false information.
• We diligently protect organizations from fraud, abuse, misinformation, and attacks by proactively identifying, disrupting, and eradicating external threats across the public attack surface.
• This role encompasses the entire SLED territory, including state and local government, K-12 education, and higher education, featuring a blend of established accounts and significant opportunities for development.
• The focus is evenly split: half of your efforts will be on protecting and expanding existing ZeroFox annual recurring revenue (ARR), while the other half will involve generating new pipeline opportunities within accounts that are either underutilized or have yet to be approached.
• A minimum of 5 years of sales experience, demonstrating a successful history of closing new business and managing renewals within state, local, or education accounts.
• Direct experience in selling to SLED, including state agencies, municipal governments, county offices, K-12 districts, or universities; established relationships in this market are highly valued.
• Proficient understanding of SLED procurement processes, including state contract vehicles (such as NASPO, OMNIA Partners, and state-specific co-ops), budget cycles, and the intricacies of purchasing decisions in government and education sectors.
• Preferably experienced in selling cybersecurity solutions, threat intelligence, digital risk protection, endpoint security, or related platforms.
• Existing connections with resellers, distributors, or systems integrators active in the SLED market are advantageous.
• Previous experience managing a portfolio that necessitates both active pipeline development and proactive renewal oversight.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic startup environment where independent work and quick adaptation are expected.
• Strong forecasting and CRM discipline, ensuring your pipeline accuracy, defensible forecasts, and consistent updates.
