This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.
• Cultivate strategic partnerships and identify as well as secure new business avenues within state, local, and university-level Public Sector entities.
• Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, providing thought leadership in accordance with their IT strategies.
• Challenge the existing operational paradigms of customers.
• Recommend solutions that align with customers’ digital transformation objectives.
• Collaborate with marketing and partner organizations to devise plans aimed at revenue enhancement.
• Employ a solution-oriented sales methodology and oversee intricate sales processes.
• Independently establish, manage, and finalize new client engagements at the CxO level.
• Develop and grow significant business within the Public Sector client base.
• Ensure the secure and confidential handling of customer information in line with company protocols.
• Over 10 years of comprehensive sales experience.
• Preferred experience with cloud technologies, databases, business intelligence software, data warehousing, and SaaS.
• Proven ability to autonomously build, manage, and close new client relationships at the CxO level within Public Sector organizations.
• Extensive connections with Public Sector decision-makers and key stakeholders.
• Experience in fostering relationships with Economic Buyers and Executive Sponsors.
• In-depth understanding of how State, Local, and Education organizations scout, select, procure, and implement technology solutions.
• Demonstrated success in building and expanding significant Public Sector client business ($3m+ ARR).
• Proficiency in a solution-based sales approach and managing complex sales cycles.
• A proactive and independent mindset, infused with high energy and a positive outlook.
• A drive, enthusiasm, and entrepreneurial spirit to establish a business from the ground up in a new customer segment.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication, presentation, and relationship management abilities.
• Capability to excel in a dynamic startup environment.
• Commitment to adhering to company confidentiality and security standards when dealing with sensitive information.
