Senior Account Executive

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.

📋 Description

• Drive new and expansion revenue within a designated territory of corporate accounts in Australia, focusing primarily on organizations with 200 or more employees.

• Create and implement a structured territory and account strategy, building a strong pipeline through self-sourced prospecting, collaboration with partners, and leads generated from marketing efforts.

• Engage IT decision-makers, security leaders, and CISOs in consultative discussions that relate access management challenges to LastPass's Secure Access Essentials offerings.

• Manage the complete sales cycle from initial outreach and discovery to product demonstrations, commercial negotiations, and closing, with the support of Sales Engineering and Customer Success teams.

• Provide accurate pipeline forecasting and ensure strong CRM hygiene throughout deal progression and sales reporting.

• Work in conjunction with channel partners and the wider APAC team—including marketing, pre-sales, and leadership—to co-sell, exchange market intelligence, and foster a positive team culture.

• Represent LastPass at industry events, customer briefings, and partner engagements throughout the APAC region.

• Serve as a trusted advisor to your accounts, assisting organizations in navigating the changing landscape of SaaS security, AI access risks, and identity governance.


⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in B2B SaaS sales, with a proven history of closing new business and surpassing quotas in a corporate or mid-market segment.

• Background in cybersecurity, identity security, or access management, with the ability to confidently engage IT decision-makers, security leaders, and CISOs regarding the threat landscape.

• Proven capability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles involving technical evaluators and executive sponsors.

• Strong consultative selling abilities, with the talent to lead with insights, construct compelling business cases, and customize messaging for various buyer personas.

• Self-driven and commercially astute, demonstrating disciplined pipeline management, strong forecast accuracy, and high levels of personal accountability.

• Collaborative and team-oriented, with a history of contributing to shared success, mutual support, and a culture of continuous learning.

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment where the product, market, and competitive landscape change rapidly.

• AI Fluency Expectations: Utilizes AI for personalized outreach, preparation for discovery calls, and extracting insights from CRM data using structured, repeatable prompts. Maintains quality and authenticity in all customer-facing interactions.
