Senior 3D Vegetation Artist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Create, sustain, and develop real-time vegetation game assets through the complete 3D pipeline, which includes modeling, sculpting, texture creation, retopology, and UV mapping in Unreal Engine 5.

• Design sets of plants tailored for various biomes.

• Evaluate, strategize, and gather references for assets; collaborate with concepts and references in accordance with established guidelines.

• Ensure the seamless integration of each asset while taking into account technical and gameplay limitations.

• Seek guidance and approval from the Lead Artist as necessary.

• Enhance artistic skills and familiarize yourself with new software applications and internal tools.

• Collaborate with Senior and/or Lead Artists while mentoring Junior 3D Artists and sharing best practices for projects.

• Foster a team-oriented atmosphere.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in vegetation modeling within the gaming industry.

• Strong proficiency in 3D modeling tools utilized for vegetation production, including 3D Max, Maya, Blender, ZBrush, Speed Tree, or Houdini.

• Solid understanding of texture creation tools such as Photoshop, Substance Designer, or Substance Painter.

• Good grasp of modern pipelines and requirements for game development.

• Team collaboration skills.

• A creative, collaborative, and innovative approach to work.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.

• Experience with game engines like Unreal Engine 5 or Unity is advantageous.

• High-poly sculpting experience in ZBrush is a plus.
