Semi-senior DevOps Engineer - Ecommerce

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Design, implement, and sustain scalable, secure, and highly available AWS infrastructure.

• Develop and oversee Infrastructure as Code utilizing Terraform and CloudFormation.

• Construct, enhance, and maintain CI/CD pipelines with modern automation tools.

• Monitor production environments using observability platforms like Prometheus, Grafana, and Datadog.

• Diagnose production incidents and conduct root cause analyses.

• Enhance automation, deployment, and operational processes to boost platform efficiency.

• Collaborate with Engineering, Product, Security, and SRE teams to deliver dependable cloud solutions.

• Provide support for serverless applications and cloud-native architectures.

• Contribute to initiatives focused on platform scalability, reliability, performance, and cost optimization.

• Adhere to cloud security best practices, encompassing IAM, secrets management, and encryption.


⛳️ Requirements

• 2–4 years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or a similar role.

• Practical experience with AWS services, including ECS, Lambda, S3, RDS, IAM, Route 53, and VPC.

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and/or CloudFormation.

• Strong grasp of cloud infrastructure automation and DevOps best practices.

• Experience in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Bitbucket Pipelines.

• Experience with serverless architectures.

• Practical experience with monitoring and observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or Datadog.

• Programming or scripting experience with Python, Bash, Ruby, or similar languages.

• Knowledge of cloud security best practices, including IAM, secrets management, and encryption.

• Familiarity with CloudFront, API Gateway, AWS cost optimization, and Agile methodologies is a plus.

• Advanced English communication skills.
