This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• Develop, implement, and oversee Google Ads campaigns across both search and display formats, focusing on keyword targeting, ad copy creation, bidding strategies, and budget management.
• Conduct structured A/B tests on ad copy, landing pages, and audience segments to enhance click-through rates (CTR), conversion rates, and customer acquisition costs (CAC).
• Take full ownership of the paid search funnel from click to installation, understanding post-click behavior and optimizing accordingly.
• Monitor campaign performance daily and execute real-time adjustments to maximize return on ad spend.
• Manage Splash's organic search strategy comprehensively, including keyword research, on-page SEO, technical SEO, and content development.
• Conduct audits and enhance site architecture, page loading speed, schema markup, and crawlability to optimize organic visibility.
• Collaborate with content teams to create pages and articles that rank for high-intent sports and contest-related queries.
• Track and analyze organic traffic, rankings, and conversions, continuously optimizing based on data insights.
• Develop a backlink strategy to increase domain authority through relevant partnerships in sports, gaming, and media.
• Maintain a keen interest in how AI is transforming search, including Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Perplexity, and future developments.
• Collaborate with content and product teams to ensure that Splash's owned pages are optimized for performance in both traditional and evolving search environments.
• 3-5+ years of hands-on experience in SEM and SEO, with a proven record of driving significant paid and organic search growth.
• Extensive knowledge of Google Ads, having managed substantial budgets and the ability to create campaigns from the ground up, rather than merely optimizing existing ones.
• Strong foundation in technical SEO, familiar with tools like Search Console, Ahrefs, or Semrush, and capable of interpreting crawl reports.
• Analytical mindset and comfortable working with data; able to generate your own reports, create dashboards, and derive insights independently.
• Excellent written communication skills, able to write and edit search content as needed, rather than solely instructing others.
• A genuine curiosity about the impact of AI on search.
• High level of personal initiative; you proactively identify challenges, devise solutions, and deliver results from start to finish.
• Passion for sports is a plus; understanding the language and culture of sports fans enhances the effectiveness of your work.
