Head of SEO

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Oversee the revenue growth of current affiliate websites: Formulate and execute long-term SEO strategies, enhance high-value pages for improved rankings and click-through rates, and manage backlink initiatives across various affiliate platforms.

• Initiate new affiliate websites from conception to launch: Handle keyword clustering, topic mapping, content organization, and liaise with stakeholders to bring new sites live from the ground up.

• Enhance both on-page and off-page performance: Perform content audits, boost SERP feature capture, manage link-building strategies, and collaborate with agencies and publishers to elevate domain authority.

• Discover and capitalize on growth opportunities: Analyze publishers, evaluate new market sizes, assess domain authority and traffic patterns, and compare expansion options against business growth frameworks.

• Lead and mentor a team of SEO Content Managers: Establish clear priorities, ensure accountability, foster growth through coaching, and engage in tough discussions when necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience in both on-page and off-page SEO, with a proven ability to drive significant organic growth.

• Demonstrated capability in team management, motivating individuals while maintaining high standards.

• Native German speaker with fluent English skills (C1+), able to interact confidently with stakeholders in both languages.

• Analytical and methodical - you focus on what is important, communicate effectively, and make decisions under pressure.

• Adept at thriving in a dynamic, flat, startup-like environment.

• Experience in the iGaming sector or other affiliate marketing fields is advantageous.
