Security Technik Administrator – Network Firewall, Routing & Switching

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Slovakia.

📋 Description

• Execute intricate administrative and operational tasks within security processes.

• Conduct measurements and tests in selected areas pertaining to security and data protection.

• Engage in the definition and execution of tests as part of security management and assessments in the relevant task area.

• Plan and acquire technical equipment, such as measuring devices and testing tools.

• Operate selected reference systems for security frameworks and specific security management tools, including managing applications and providing technical assistance within the task area.

• Offer technical support for security management systems.

• Assess security measures from a commercial perspective and serve as a contact point for Group units throughout the implementation process.

• Assist employees with security-related inquiries.

• Analyze and prepare data and information regarding security issues.

• Participate in various projects.

⛳️ Requirements

• Possess a Bachelor's degree in Information Technologies.

• Have a minimum of 2 years of experience in ICT Technical Infrastructure Operations.

• Hold relevant vendor-specific certifications.

• Preferably have a CCNA certification or higher.

• Demonstrate intermediate proficiency in MS Office.

• Have a strong understanding of networking fundamentals.

• Maintain a good overview of hardware and software components.

• Be familiar with ITIL V4 Foundation at an intermediate level.

• Communicate effectively and clearly.

• Display a willingness to learn and develop.

• Exhibit strong analytical thinking abilities.

• Collaborate effectively within a team environment.

• Possess an upper intermediate (B2) level of English, with German language skills being a plus.

• Have a clear criminal record.

• Possess general knowledge at the CCNA level or above, including:

• o Basics of routing and switching.

• o IPsec and SSL VPNs.

• o Proxy and reverse proxy services.

• o Firewalls and next-generation firewalls.
