Security Student Worker

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Ensure the security of the web and enhance the browsing experience for hundreds of millions of users

• Receive guidance from experienced web and security professionals

• Engage in regular team processes that contribute to the security of a well-established product

• Optimize or automate current team processes using Python

• Develop or enhance web security functionalities in Firefox with C++

• Collaborate with the broader open source community

• Have the opportunity to suggest and lead your own projects

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in web development and familiarity with version control systems

• Proficient in programming with Python and knowledge of secure software development practices

• Fluent in English and appreciate performing software engineering tasks in an open environment

• Currently enrolled in a university in Germany and willing to occasionally visit our Berlin office
