Security Software Engineer III

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Oversee enterprise security infrastructure projects from the initial planning phase through to implementation.

• Collaborate with security, infrastructure, engineering, and operations teams.

• Manage initiatives related to encryption and the lifecycle of certificates.

• Supervise the implementation of enterprise key management solutions.

• Coordinate activities regarding Public Key Infrastructure (PKI).

• Ensure that project delivery aligns with quality, timeline, and budget requirements.

• Identify potential technical risks and devise strategies for mitigation.

• Maintain communication with executive sponsors and project stakeholders.

• Handle project documentation and reporting responsibilities.

• Ensure adherence to enterprise governance standards.

• Manage vendor relationships as necessary.

• Assist with security audits and compliance initiatives.

• Resolve conflicts and resource limitations across projects.

• Promote continuous improvement in security engineering processes.

• Provide mentorship to junior project managers and technical team members.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT.

• In-depth understanding of encryption technologies.

• Experience working with certificates and PKI.

• Familiarity with Key Management Systems (KMS).

• Proven experience in leading enterprise projects.

• Excellent communication skills.

• Ability to manage technical stakeholders effectively.

• Experience in risk management.
