This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Create and execute a thorough AI security and governance strategy that aligns with organizational objectives and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with AI, IT, and Risk leaders to integrate security-by-design throughout the AI lifecycle—from data gathering to model deployment.
• Develop AI threat modeling and risk management frameworks addressing the confidentiality, integrity, availability, and fairness of AI systems.
• Supervise the implementation of technical measures to protect AI/ML systems against adversarial attacks, data poisoning, model inversion, and prompt injection.
• Establish standards for secure model development, training, and deployment across both cloud and edge environments.
• Implement ongoing monitoring for model drift, bias, and abnormal outputs.
• Spearhead the creation of AI security policies, model documentation, and auditing processes.
• Ensure adherence to emerging AI regulations and frameworks (such as the EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF, ISO/IEC 42001, and U.S. AI Executive Orders).
• Collaborate with legal, compliance, and data privacy teams to fulfill ethical AI, explainability, and accountability obligations.
• Work closely with data science, engineering, and DevSecOps teams to incorporate secure development pipelines (MLOps/LLMOps).
• Partner with enterprise architecture and identity teams to establish a reliable AI infrastructure and secure data access.
• Represent the AI security strategy during executive briefings, board updates, and regulatory discussions.
• Engage in the AI Governance Committee.
• Stay updated on the rapidly evolving AI and cybersecurity threat landscapes, including deepfakes, generative AI misuse, and model exfiltration.
• Lead red teaming and penetration testing initiatives for AI systems to assess their resilience.
• Advocate for responsible AI initiatives, promoting a “secure and trusted AI” culture throughout the organization.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related discipline.
• Over 10 years of experience in cybersecurity, including 3–5 years in leading AI/ML or emerging technology security programs.
• Demonstrated expertise in designing and implementing secure AI architectures and governance frameworks.
• Profound knowledge of AI/ML systems, LLMs, data pipelines, and cloud-based AI services.
• Familiarity with adversarial ML, data privacy, model security, and AI red teaming practices.
• Understanding of AI risk management standards (e.g., NIST AI RMF, ISO/IEC 27090x/42001).
• Strong foundation in cyber defense, threat intelligence, and secure software development (DevSecOps/MLOps).
