Cyber Security Intern

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Assist in monitoring security alerts and investigate potential security incidents.

• Support vulnerability scanning and aid in documenting findings and remediation efforts.

• Engage in security assessments, audits, and compliance activities.

• Assist with user access reviews and processes related to identity and access management.

• Utilize data analysis, statistical models, historical information, and financial expertise to make informed decisions regarding risk exposure and management strategies.

• Contribute to the development of internal processes and methodologies for risk assessment and monitoring.

• Undertake other cybersecurity-related projects and tasks as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree or higher (or its international equivalent).

• Certifications will be taken into account.

• Strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Capability to provide information to a diverse range of audiences regardless of the subject and effectively manage confidential and sensitive issues.

• A keen interest in deepening knowledge and understanding of the Cyber Security field.
