This is a fully remote position, open to applicants anywhere in the world.
• Performing comprehensive research on tools or services designed to hinder the unrestricted collection of public web data.
• Developing and enhancing HTTP client solutions to ensure the effectiveness of Bright's data collection initiatives.
• Discovering new standards and technologies that may influence our data collection capabilities.
• Analyzing and reverse engineering adversarial solutions to thwart fingerprinting methods that could impede our efforts.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience as an R&D developer, researcher, or tester.
• Profound knowledge of HTTP and TLS protocols.
• Proficient in at least 2 of the following areas:
• - Programming experience in JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, or C++.
• - Experience in penetration testing or possession of offensive security certifications (OSCP, OSEP, etc.).
• - Professional experience in security research (including web vulnerabilities, mobile applications, etc.).
• - Skills in reverse engineering (JS deobfuscation or binary reversing) and malware analysis.
• - Development of anti-bot solutions or similar products, such as WAF, Anti-Virus (malware emulation, etc.), DDoS prevention, etc.
• Proficient in English.
• Previous experience at an anti-bot or web security firm is a significant advantage.
