This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada, +1 more country.
• Oversee device management via MDM policies, BYOD, patch and vulnerability management, troubleshooting, as well as general management of macOS, Linux, and Windows operating systems.
• Provide support for essential platforms including Google Workspace, Jira, and GitHub.
• Streamline processes through automation for self-service access and patching.
• Administer access management utilizing OIDC, SAML, and SCIM protocols.
• Execute data loss prevention and mitigation strategies.
• Collaborate with Engineering Leadership to make technology decisions, ensuring compliance with company-wide IT standards.
• Previous experience in a security-focused or related technical position.
• Familiarity with operating systems and security mechanisms.
• Understanding of common networking protocols.
• Knowledge of widely-used authentication and user management protocols (OIDC, SAML, SCIM).
• Awareness of Google Workspace Security and Device Management.
• Experience using MDM solutions such as Jamf, Kandji, Fleet, or Intune.
• Capable of providing and receiving constructive feedback.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Adaptability to the evolving landscape of a startup environment.
• Familiarity with Jira workflows and automation (considered a plus).
• Experience in application and/or infrastructure security (considered a plus).
• Proficiency in Go, Python, or bash scripting (preferred).
