This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ireland.
• Define and optimize processes, workflows, and playbooks to ensure efficient operations within the Security Operations Center.
• Empower analysts to achieve mission objectives and adhere to internal Service Level Agreements regarding response times.
• Collaborate with regional managers to maintain uniform global operations.
• Offer training opportunities for analysts and support their career development.
• Design, implement, and enforce internal processes aimed at minimizing burnout and enhancing productivity within the operations center.
• Oversee and ensure local/global shift coverage to sustain 24/7 operations year-round.
• Conduct weekly one-on-one meetings with analysts to communicate initiatives, collect feedback, provide guidance, and assist in career advancement.
• Contribute to training programs for analysts in areas such as Digital Forensics, Incident Response, Malware Analysis, Detection Engineering, Threat Hunting, and Automation.
• Collaborate with Product teams to prioritize features that enhance analyst capabilities.
• Maintain regular quality assurance accountability for the assigned region.
• Work with Support to develop workflows for partner/customer requests that necessitate SOC analysis.
• Strengthen processes and collaborations with Tactical Response, Threat Hunting, and Detection Engineering teams.
• Provide a level of technical leadership for SOC analysts.
• Communicate Huntress mission objectives and goals to team members.
• Offer insights and guidance to stakeholders in Marketing, Sales, Support, and Product.
• Develop, monitor, and report on Objectives and Key Results related to SOC initiatives.
• Assist in operationalizing new technologies and services.
• Engage in webinars and public speaking events, both online and in-person.
• Proven experience in leading diverse cybersecurity teams with expertise in Security Operations, Digital Forensics, Incident Response, Malware Analysis, Threat Hunting, and Detection Engineering.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Security Analyst within a global 24x7 security operations center, focusing on Windows forensics.
• At least 2 years of experience in a team lead or managerial position within a global operations center or Incident Response role, ideally in an MSSP, MDR provider, or Incident Response service.
• Actively involved in the information security community by attending conferences or contributing to public discussions/projects.
• Committed to continuous learning and staying updated on the latest threat actor tactics, detection methods, and security operations concepts.
• Ability to identify workflows and create comprehensive process diagrams and operating procedures.
• Proficient in communicating complex technical concepts to stakeholders with varying levels of technical expertise.
• Demonstrated experience in leading initiatives or projects that involve delegation and accountability.
• Data-driven approach with familiarity in Data Science concepts.
