HR Ops Security Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with the HR Operations team to support and enhance HR processes and systems for all employees.

• Maintain, optimize, and support systems utilized by the HR community and its partners.

• Manage the processing of system access requests for HR applications, including the provisioning and deprovisioning of access.

• Diagnose and investigate system and security access-related issues, providing timely resolutions.

• Execute quarterly security audits and user access reviews to ensure compliance with data security policies, procedures, and SOX requirements.

• Collect and document requirements for new security access requests, collaborating with IT security to create and test new security roles.

• Work with stakeholders on modifications and enhancements to security roles, from impact assessment to implementation.

• Create and maintain security audit reports and queries.

• Offer functional security support for ongoing HR processes such as Performance Management, Compensation, COI, and Executive Reorgs.

• Oversee security-related configurations and end-user authorizations.

• Gather, analyze, and document requirements for new applications and enhancements.

• Lead application releases and prioritize essential features to improve the HR user experience.

• Act as the primary contact for HR and IT teams regarding application matters.

• Convert business requirements into functional design documents for technical teams.

• Train and support end users on new application features.

• Develop and maintain user guidelines and documentation.

• Participate in system implementation projects through requirements gathering, design, build, testing, and implementation phases.

• Suggest and/or support process improvements and program changes.

• Assist HR projects aimed at improving HR processes and systems, including large-scale deployments.

• Manage security workstream activities throughout the project duration.

• Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, HR, Technology, or equivalent relevant work experience.

• Minimum of 2 years of HRIS related experience.

• Intermediate to advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).

• Ability to commute weekly, typically one day per week, but potentially more frequently, to either the New York, NY, or Universal City, CA office.

• Experience with SAP Human Capital Management (HCM) modules and/or SAP SuccessFactors talent modules.

• Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.

• Effective communication skills for individual and group settings.

• Ability to engage with diverse populations and individuals from various backgrounds in a consultative manner.

• Excellent written and verbal communication capabilities.

• Proficient in delivering presentations to diverse audiences.

• Proven ability to prepare complex reports and analytics for senior leadership and auditors.

• Exceptional analytical, critical evaluation, and problem-solving skills.

• Sound decision-making abilities and professional judgment.

• Meticulous attention to detail with the ability to meet deadlines.

• Flexibility and adaptability in executing work responsibilities.

• Ability to clarify questions and explain systems and processes to business partners.

• Availability to work during Eastern Time business hours.
