Security Governance Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assist Principal and Senior Consultants in executing cybersecurity and compliance projects.

• Perform gap analyses against standards and requirements such as NIST CSF 2.0, SOC 2, ISO 27001, PCI DSS, HIPAA, and CMMC, including crosswalking where relevant.

• Help identify, evaluate, and document security and compliance risks.

• Contribute to the creation of client-facing documents, facilitating the communication of compliance needs and risk findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Aid in formulating strategic, operational, and tactical recommendations to address identified risks and enhance the client's security posture and compliance status.

• Execute tasks and projects promptly and within budget while achieving key success metrics to ensure high levels of client satisfaction.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 5 years of professional experience in IT, cybersecurity, compliance, risk management, or a related discipline.

• Possession of at least one of the following certifications: CISSP, CISM, CCSP, AWS Certified Security – Specialty.

• Knowledge of common frameworks and regulations such as NIST CSF 2.0, SOC 2, ISO 27001, PCI DSS, HIPAA, and CMMC.

• Strong documentation skills with Microsoft® Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
