This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Collaborate with the security engineering team to design and implement security tools.
• Develop, construct, and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure utilizing Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
• Establish and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions to facilitate reliable and automated deployments.
• Work alongside engineering teams to enhance architecture, reliability, and continuous improvement.
• Partner with software development teams to ensure the effective implementation of security tools.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to bolster system reliability and visibility.
• Support resilience through capacity planning, performance optimization, disaster recovery, and runbook creation.
• Diagnose issues promptly and communicate outcomes effectively.
• Deliver production-ready systems within deadlines and budget constraints.
• Proven knowledge of IT security tools and cloud computing, including security services in AWS, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), or Aliyun.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions).
• Familiarity with AI tools (such as GitHub Copilot or ChatGPT Enterprise) to enhance security results.
• Ability to analyze and monitor security systems using tools like NewRelic or CloudWatch.
• Proficient in scripting and/or application development (e.g., Python, Shell scripting).
• Experience with security tools such as SIEM, Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Endpoint Detection & Response (EDR), Firewalls, Intrusion Detection/Prevention Systems (IDS/IPS), or code analysis tools.
• Background in cloud environments (AWS or others), virtualization, containerization, or infrastructure as code.
• Familiarity with Agile and/or DevOps methodologies.
• Enthusiasm for emerging industry standards regarding security in technology settings.
