This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Oversee the concluding phase of Sensiba's Zero Trust transformation and modernization of endpoint security.
• Create, document, and uphold enterprise security standards and configuration baselines.
• Implement scalable security practices that facilitate long-term growth and compliance.
• Manage and enhance Microsoft Sentinel for monitoring, detection, and response activities.
• Develop and refine detection rules, alerts, investigations, and automated response workflows.
• Lead security investigations, incident response initiatives, and proactive threat hunting operations.
• Take ownership of Defender XDR, Defender for Endpoint, and Defender for Cloud administration and security posture management.
• Monitor and address vulnerabilities across user devices and cloud environments.
• Oversee Microsoft Purview Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policies and information protection programs.
• Assist in Sensiba's annual SOC 2 Type II audit process by providing technical evidence and validating controls.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• A minimum of 5 years of practical Security Engineering experience within Microsoft environments.
• Proficient in administering Microsoft Sentinel, including detection engineering and log analysis.
• Extensive experience with Microsoft Defender technologies and enterprise vulnerability management programs.
• Familiarity with implementing Zero Trust security controls, such as Intune and Conditional Access.
• Expertise in PowerShell scripting and automation.
• Experience in supporting SOC 2 Type II audits and compliance initiatives.
• Proven ability to develop security standards, policies, automations, and operational procedures.
• Experience with Microsoft Purview, Endpoint DLP, and Sensitivity Labels is preferred.
