Security Engineer

📋 Description

• Safeguard the security and integrity of the customer network.

• Design, implement, and oversee security protocols to safeguard network and information systems.

• Configure, manage, and resolve issues related to Palo Alto firewalls.

• Deploy and supervise Palo Alto firewalls within cloud environments.

• Investigate and address security incidents and potential threats.

• Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and standards.

• Monitor network traffic and security notifications.

• Collaborate with other IT and security team members.

⛳️ Requirements

• Education: Bachelor of Science degree.

• Experience: Over 5 years of relevant experience.

• Technical skills: Extensive knowledge in the configuration and management of Palo Alto firewalls.

• Significant experience in deploying and managing Palo Alto firewalls in cloud environments, including AWS, GCP, and Azure.

• Strong understanding of network protocols, firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and various security technologies.

• Proven experience with additional security devices and platforms.

• Relevant certifications such as Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer (PCNSE) or AWS Certified Security - Specialty are advantageous.
