Security Engineer 2 – Cyber Security

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Accountable for maintaining a secure computing environment across the organization.

• Execute security services, systems, policies, and procedures to safeguard information assets against both internal and external threats.

• Offer expert skills in the design, implementation, and ongoing support of security solutions.

• Engage in the assessment, installation, maintenance, and technical support of the BILH security strategy and product offerings for Windows, Macintosh, and Linux enterprise computing environments.

• Collaborate on the rollout of mobile business solutions and emerging technologies necessitating testing, development, and deployment.

• Implement and uphold security software systems.

• Aid in reviewing system logs and reports to identify recurring security concerns or errors, as well as conducting root cause analysis and resolutions.

• Develop, maintain, and analyze performance metrics that allow for the identification, reporting, and examination of key indicators of quality, effectiveness, and success.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School diploma or GED is mandatory.

• A Bachelor's degree is preferred.

• CISSP or an equivalent certification is preferred.

• 3-5 years of relevant work experience in security-focused or technical support roles is required.

• Proficient knowledge and experience with network systems security principles and applications.

• Scripting abilities (PowerShell, Java, VBS) and/or SQL database skills are necessary.

• Advanced technical computer skills are essential.
