Security Customer Success Engineer – SCSE

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Estonia.

📋 Description

• Lead technical security discussions with customer-side security teams, including security officers, CISOs, and IT stakeholders, to address concerns and validate Wrike’s security capabilities.

• Assist Sales teams by proactively identifying and addressing security-related objections that might affect deal progression.

• Drive business growth by advocating for Wrike’s premium security features, such as Wrike Lock and data residency offerings, demonstrating how they align with customer needs.

• Contribute to larger deal sizes by positioning security as a strategic factor in the customer’s purchasing decision.

• Complete security questionnaires, RFPs, and customer security portal evaluations with efficiency and precision.

• Utilize internal AI tools and knowledge bases to provide high-quality, consistent responses to technical security inquiries.

• Quickly adapt to and adhere to internal security workflows and processes to ensure a seamless experience for both internal stakeholders and customers.

• Collaborate closely with the core Security team to remain informed on product updates, vulnerabilities, and roadmap developments.

• Work in partnership with Sales and Customer Success teams through regular follow-ups and ongoing support both pre- and post-sale.

• Relay customer feedback and recurring security needs to Product and Security teams to influence future security enhancements.

• Contribute to process improvements that enhance Wrike’s management of security inquiries and customer interactions.


⛳️ Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in a customer-facing technical role such as Sales Engineering, Customer Success, Solutions Engineering, or Security Consulting, ideally within a SaaS environment.

• Excellent communication skills, capable of explaining complex security and compliance concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Experience in managing customer objections and steering security-related discussions with a business-focused approach.

• Strong understanding of cloud security principles.

• Familiarity with data privacy regulations such as GDPR and CCPA.

• Knowledge of security and compliance frameworks like SOC 2, ISO 27001, and HIPAA.

• Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• Experience utilizing AI tools, internal documentation, or knowledge bases to enhance quality and efficiency in responses.

• Proficient English spoken and written skills at an advanced level.
