This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.
• Accurately install, configure, adjust, and troubleshoot CCTV cameras, fingerprint readers, and associated security equipment with meticulous attention to detail.
• Oversee and maintain security systems, including CCTV, access control systems, and ticketing platforms, to ensure peak performance.
• Perform routine audits of physical security infrastructure, identify vulnerabilities, and promptly address any discrepancies.
• Assess security threats and risks, develop comprehensive mitigation strategies, and propose corrective measures to improve system effectiveness.
• Document and communicate security incidents, threats, and vulnerabilities to management with clarity and transparency, tracking their status throughout their lifecycle.
• Work collaboratively with facility and security teams to diagnose issues, implement solutions, and uphold smooth security operations.
• Engage in internal and external audits, compliance assessments, and security investigations to ensure adherence to organizational standards.
• Keep meticulous records of equipment maintenance, system configurations, and security evaluations for audit and compliance purposes.
• Stay informed about emerging security threats and alerts, keeping up with industry trends to suggest innovative enhancements.
• Manage and control access to security equipment and facilities, ensuring that proper protocols are adhered to.
• At least 1 year of practical experience in a Security CCTV Technician role or a similar position in security systems.
• In-depth understanding of physical security threats, vulnerabilities, and industry-standard remediation practices.
• General knowledge and practical experience with networking concepts (A+ or Network+ certifications are highly preferred).
• Expertise in CCTV system installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities, capable of diagnosing complex security system issues.
• Familiarity with access control systems, fingerprint readers, and integrated security platforms.
• Awareness of security protocols, compliance requirements, and audit processes.
• Secondary education or higher; technical certifications in security systems or IT are a plus.
• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken; Spanish language skills are an advantage for local operations.
• Outstanding organizational and documentation skills, with the capacity to maintain thorough records and incident reports.
• A high level of responsibility, honesty, and integrity, along with a commitment to confidentiality.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with international and cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, demonstrating resilience and decisiveness in fast-paced environments.
