Security Automation Engineer – SOAR

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in security operations with a comprehensive understanding of the full SOC lifecycle (alert triage, escalation, incident response, case management).

• More than 3 years of experience specifically in designing and developing security automation/orchestration workflows.

• Practical experience with at least one SOAR/automation platform; Tines, Torq, or Cortex XSOAR are preferred.

• Skilled in integrating security and IT systems using REST APIs, webhooks, and JSON.

• Proficient in scripting, mainly with Python, for custom logic, data transformations, and management within automated workflows.

• Familiarity with the categories of tools that automations interact with: SIEM, EDR/XDR, ticketing systems (ServiceNow, Jira), threat intelligence, and email security.

• Capable of breaking down a manual security process into a dependable automated workflow, incorporating error handling, conditional logic, and secure executions.
