Mid Automation Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• The Robotics Process Automation (RPA) Engineer is responsible for planning, designing, developing, and testing automated processes utilizing RPA product suites.

• Leads the integration of the RPA application with various enterprise systems and data sources, employing RPA Designer along with scripting and programming languages.

• Collaborates closely with business stakeholders on all technical facets of RPA deployments, covering aspects such as data mapping, report design, connectivity of desktop applications, training, and implementation.

• Identifies new process opportunities while accurately analyzing and estimating potential processes, and quickly evaluating their feasibility.

• Analyzes, comprehends, and documents business processes in detail as needed.

• Identifies and communicates the necessary technical infrastructure requirements.

• Designs automation (Agents / RPA) process solutions that adhere to standard design principles and conventions.

• Configures new automation processes and objects based on core workflow principles that are efficient, organized, maintainable, and easily comprehensible.

• Creates and maintains comprehensive solution documentation.

• Supports existing processes and implements change requirements through a structured change control process.

• Addresses issues that arise in the daily operation of automation processes, providing timely responses and solutions as necessary.

• Engages with the automation software supplier regarding software-related issues, suggested enhancements, and collaborates with other users within the community.

• Operates within an agile delivery team, communicating any identified risks and issues to the delivery/project manager as appropriate and contributing to the change control process.

• Develops and documents test procedures and scenarios for pre-UAT phases, while supporting the operational teams during UAT and rollout phases.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in software development, ideally with Robotic Process Automation tools such as UiPath and Blue Prism.

• Familiarity with AI Agents, particularly with UiPath, AWS, or similar platforms.

• Exposure to AI, IXP, Communications Mining, Maestro, UiPath Case Management, etc.

• Proficient in job scheduling software and best practices.

• Working knowledge of object-oriented programming languages, web services, and system integration.

• Experience with database systems and SQL.

• Familiarity with APIs, WebServices, Webhooks, etc.

• Understanding of unit testing and debugging principles and practices.

• Eagerness to embrace challenges and acquire new skills, tools, and technologies.

• Previous experience with Optical Character Recognition (OCR), Natural Language Processing (NLP), Machine Learning (ML), and Business Process Management (BPM) is advantageous.

• Practical experience with Python, AWS Bedrock, AWS AgentCore, Azure OCR, .NET, or similar technologies.

• Experience in high-transaction environments, such as e-commerce or finance sectors.

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and issue/project tracking software like Jira.

• Experience with source code control systems, such as GIT or Subversion.
