This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maine, +1 more state.
• Facilitate technical discovery discussions and convert customer needs into comprehensive solution designs.
• Communicate effectively about product functionalities, integrations, and architectural considerations (e.g., Splunk, Sentinel, CrowdStrike Next-Gen SIEM, Tines, Torque, Snowflake).
• Create integration diagrams, assess technical feasibility, and showcase GuidePoint's unique capabilities.
• Assist account executives in pre-sales activities, ensuring technical alignment prior to formal project scoping.
• Keep abreast of trends in security operations, new platforms, and competitive landscape.
• Work collaboratively with delivery architects to guarantee seamless transitions from sales to implementation.
• Technically knowledgeable — you possess a fundamental understanding of how SIEM/SOAR/detection-as-code ecosystems function.
• Approachable and articulate — you can convey intricate topics in understandable language without being condescending or overly confident.
• Customer-oriented — you listen effectively, pose appropriate questions, and quickly establish trust.
• Inquisitive and adaptable — you are comfortable acquiring knowledge about new platforms (e.g., Snowflake) as customer needs change.
• Preferred experience in security operations, consulting, or pre-sales engineering.
• Deep implementation expertise is not required — we prioritize breadth of knowledge, communication skills, and sound judgment over hands-on technical skills.
