Security Analyst – Penetration Testing

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Execute controlled attack simulations and penetration tests across various environments including web, mobile, cloud, Active Directory, and IoT/OT.

• Detect and confirm vulnerabilities, showcasing their impact in a secure and structured manner.

• Engage in social engineering campaigns, MITRE ATT&CK-based drills, and Purple Teaming activities.

• Create technical and executive reports that link identified risks to their business implications.

• Assist clients in formulating mitigation strategies and monitor the implementation of recommendations.

• Utilize methodologies and frameworks such as PTES, OSSTMM, NIST, and OWASP.

• Operate tools like Burp Suite, Metasploit, and BloodHound.

• Write or modify scripts using Python, PowerShell, or Bash.

• Convey technical findings to a variety of audiences effectively.

• Record the scope, evidence, limitations, and outcomes of tests.

• Collaborate with security, infrastructure, and development teams to assess risks and recommendations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Completed or currently pursuing higher education in Information Security, Information Technology, or a related discipline.

• Hands-on experience with penetration testing and vulnerability assessments.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and a capacity to work efficiently within a team.

• Familiarity with Windows and Linux operating systems, as well as networks and communication protocols.

• Proficiency in at least one scripting language, such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash.

• Certifications such as DESEC, CompTIA PenTest+, CEH, eJPT, or eWPT are advantageous but not mandatory.

• Experience in web, mobile, cloud, Active Directory, or IoT/OT environments is beneficial.

• Knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK, social engineering, Purple Teaming, or cloud security is a plus.

• Involvement in labs, CTFs, personal projects, or contributions to the security community is a plus.
