This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Continuously monitor and analyze security breaches across the organization's systems.
• Identify and address vulnerabilities within CorVel systems.
• Stay informed about the latest trends and best practices in IT security.
• Create comprehensive reports on security metrics, attempted attacks, and breaches.
• Develop, review, and maintain detailed security incident response plans and playbooks.
• Provide guidance to management and senior IT personnel on security improvements.
• Conduct security assessments, including vulnerability testing and risk analysis.
• Encourage and support the establishment of company-wide security best practices.
• Engage in and assist with security audits.
• Build and maintain relationships with external security organizations.
• Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a security professional with a focus on security policy development.
• Extensive experience in the Microsoft Defender environment.
• Demonstrable experience in conducting vulnerability assessments and testing.
• Proven ability to plan, communicate, and implement security recommendations.
• Experience in conducting or managing network penetration testing (preferred).
• Prior experience in a security analyst position (preferred).
• Experience working in a Security Operations Center (SOC) with a team of 5 or more (preferred).
• Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification (preferred).
