Security Analyst, Compliance and Controls

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Netherlands.

📋 Description

• Oversee, investigate, and address security incidents utilizing SIEM, CSPM, and various other security solutions.

• Assess the impact of security incidents on compliance status and rectify any technical compliance breaches.

• Suggest and execute detection measures for compliance infractions.

• Work alongside internal and external auditors to furnish evidence of ongoing compliance with regulatory standards.

• Develop and sustain automation tools for security compliance and incident investigations utilizing Logic Apps, PowerShell scripts, and Sentinel playbooks.

• Generate reports and documentation regarding incidents, investigations, and compliance obligations.

• Collaborate with Technology, SecOps, Compliance, and Audit teams to enhance adherence to standards across the infrastructure.


⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of practical experience as a security analyst using diverse security technologies (SIEM, EDR, CSPM) in enterprise settings.

• Proficient in Microsoft Sentinel, including KQL queries, analytic rules, automated playbooks, and dashboards.

• Familiarity with Microsoft Entra ID, covering identity protection, conditional access, and PIM.

• Knowledge of Microsoft Purview, including DLP, sensitivity labels, insider risk, and eDiscovery.

• Experience collaborating with internal and external auditors to provide and verify evidence for compliance controls such as SOX, DORA, GDPR, and SOC II in cloud environments.

• Proven experience in resolving security incidents.

• Understanding of the identity and access management lifecycle.

• Knowledge of SIEM/SOAR principles.

• Awareness of compliance controls and frameworks like NIST, SOX, and GDPR.

• Proficient in intermediate written and spoken English.

• Microsoft certifications SC-200, SC-300, and SC-400 are advantageous.

• Experience with cloud security posture management and vulnerability management tools is beneficial.

• Familiarity with DevOps security automation practices, including GIT and Azure DevOps, is a plus.

• Knowledge of EDR is an advantage.

• Experience in remediating compliance violations is a plus.

• Development/scripting skills with PowerShell, RESTful APIs/Microsoft Graph API, and Python or Bash are advantageous.
