This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop and oversee scripts, automations, and data utilities for the Sales Engineering field team.
• Collaborate with Sales Engineers to create Proofs of Value, which encompass tenant configuration, integration scoping, data validation, and success criteria instrumentation.
• Integrate customer security stacks, ensure coverage and data quality, and troubleshoot ingestion issues.
• Investigate customer and partner environments for vulnerability risks, security controls, and exposure pathways.
• Differentiate between genuinely exploitable vulnerabilities and risks mitigated by existing customer controls.
• Manage threat intelligence for the go-to-market organization, monitor emerging CVEs and active exploitation campaigns, and facilitate rapid responses.
• Present findings directly to customer security teams and assist Sales Engineers with research support.
• Collaborate with Product, R&D, and Research teams by sharing field insights, identifying data gaps, and addressing detection misses.
• Verify new mitigation logic using real customer data.
• Over 3 years of experience in cybersecurity, with a strong background in research analysis, threat intelligence, threat detection engineering, or threat hunting.
• Capability to collect, process, analyze, and interpret large and imperfect datasets to extract actionable insights, and to defend conclusions under scrutiny.
• Proficiency in programming/scripting languages, with a natural inclination to automate repetitive tasks.
• Familiarity with enterprise security controls, including EDR, NGFW, WAF, CNAPP, cloud security, and vulnerability scanners.
• Experience in network/security-related data analysis.
• Proficient in SQL and understanding of TCP/IP network fundamentals.
• Comfortable engaging directly with customers and articulating findings clearly to skeptical security teams.
• Strong collaboration skills and experience managing interactions across multiple departments with cybersecurity professionals, engineering teams, and product managers.
• Self-motivated, low-ego, and adaptable in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Familiarity with Go/Python programming languages is an advantage.
• Experience in pre-sales, professional services, or another customer-facing technical role is beneficial.
• Experience in developing internal tools or automation for a field or go-to-market team is a plus.
• Familiarity with agentic and LLM-based workflows and MCP-style integrations is advantageous.
• Previous experience at an early-stage security startup is a plus.
