This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Instruct students using approved curriculum materials in alignment with the syllabus and course design.
• Take charge of the academic oversight and instruction of enrolled students.
• Attend regularly scheduled mandatory program meetings.
• Participate in one full faculty meeting each term.
• Ensure complete coverage for all scheduled synchronous/live sessions.
• Engage in and facilitate asynchronous discussions and didactic sessions.
• Maintain and assess records of students' academic and practical performance within the grading systems of the Learning Management System (LMS) and the University.
• Offer constructive and prompt feedback on asynchronous and required written assignments, ensuring all feedback is provided within 7-10 days of the assigned due dates.
• Oversee all administrative and academic aspects of the course section, including the grading of assignments, exams, and relevant clinical activities.
• Maintain regular communication online, and virtually/in-person if preferred, with program administration concerning course and student performance, issues, and concerns.
• Respond to student inquiries in a clear and articulate manner within 24-48 hours.
• Promote and nurture an online learning environment that emphasizes professionalism, accountability, empathy, lifelong learning, respect for diversity, ethically-minded practice, and personal and professional growth.
• A PhD or DSW in Social Work is required.
• A minimum of 5+ years of experience in social work education is necessary.
• Graduate-level teaching experience is preferred.
• Experience with online teaching is preferred.
