This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Missouri.
• Collaborate with Missouri Connections Academy from your home office located in Missouri.
• Oversee instructional programs in a virtual setting.
• Regularly consult with learning coaches and students to ensure the successful completion of instructional programs.
• Timely completion of grading, creation of progress reports, and conducting parent conferences.
• Enhance the instructional program through asynchronous web conferencing sessions and synchronous instruction.
• Evaluate curriculum and develop alternative methods to improve student comprehension.
• Maintain consistent communication with parents, students, and fellow teachers regarding various tasks.
• Keep student records and data accurately updated.
• Organize regional field trips and integrate them into the curriculum.
• Engage in the organization and administration of State Testing.
• Participate in in-person training sessions and team-building activities.
• Must be highly qualified and certified to teach Secondary English/Language Arts in Missouri, appropriate to grade level and content area responsibilities.
• Experience in Professional Learning Communities is essential.
• Strong proficiency in technology, particularly with Microsoft OS and MS Office applications.
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
• A customer-focused approach is required.
• High level of flexibility is necessary.
• Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• A history of being a team player.
• Willingness to travel occasionally for marketing and state testing events, which may include overnight stays.
• Capability to work remotely when needed.
• Availability to work some occasional evening hours to support families as needed.
