This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +2 more states.
• Professionally handle incoming customer communications via calls, chats, and emails.
• Address customer queries across various channels as required.
• Investigate and resolve issues by utilizing available resources.
• Offer customers information regarding products and services.
• Recognize and escalate priority concerns.
• Conduct follow-ups with customers when necessary.
• Record customer interactions as required.
• Acquire a comprehensive understanding of Academy policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
• Responsibilities may be subject to change; team members may be asked to undertake additional tasks as assigned.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
• Minimum of 6 months of experience in a customer service-related position is required.
• Experience in an Omni-Channel Contact Center setting is preferred.
• Previous remote work experience is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of effectively interacting with individuals both internally and externally.
• Maintain a customer-centric perspective as a guiding principle in activities.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and creative thinking abilities.
• Capacity to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while remaining organized and detail-oriented.
• Proficiency in relevant computer applications (e.g., Google Chrome, Oracle Service Cloud, Order Management System, Workday, Kronos).
• Ability to navigate multiple web browsers using dual monitors.
• Exceptional keyboarding skills.
• Self-driven and capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
• Understanding of customer service principles and best practices.
• Familiarity with Academy’s product offerings is preferred.
• Bilingual abilities (Spanish and English) are an advantage.
• A broadband internet connection (Cable, DSL, or Fiber) must be established before starting.
• Wireless internet connections are not permitted (the computer must connect via a wired network to either a hub or directly to a broadband modem).
• Minimum download speed of 5.0 MBPS is required (preferably 75+).
• At least 4 GB of available RAM is necessary.
• Data usage should be 1024 GB (1 Terabyte).
• Hardware provided includes a compatible headset, two monitors, keyboard, mouse, ethernet cord, and a computer system.
• The work environment must be free from noise distractions, including but not limited to televisions, audio equipment, pets, children, etc.
