Seasonal Tax Research Representative

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Missouri.

📋 Description

• Leverage Salesforce to oversee and monitor incoming tax law inquiries from H&R Block tax professionals.

• Assess and address tax-related questions utilizing up-to-date knowledge of tax laws.

• Recognize inquiries that need further investigation and escalate them to Tax Research Analysts.

• Communicate mainly via chat, providing clear, professional, and prompt responses.

• Acquire exposure to a diverse array of tax subjects by collaborating directly with preparers who assist clients.

• Support the Tax Institute’s Tax Research Analysts in resolving clients’ tax law inquiries during the forthcoming tax season.

⛳️ Requirements

• An associate’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience through a combination of education and related work.

• At least 1 year of relevant work experience.

• Ability to work independently while maintaining concentration.

• Capability to execute tasks with a high level of detail and accuracy.

• Proven knowledge of tax laws.

• Strong analytical and research abilities to interpret and resolve complex issues.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Prior customer service experience is preferred.
