Seasonal Associate, Cloud Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Assist with the governance and management of AWS and Azure organizations.

• Support cloud infrastructure initiatives including VPC architecture, firewall setup, and IAM policy oversight.

• Work alongside engineers to implement and sustain cloud security tools and automation workflows.

• Aid in the deployment and administration of cloud-native products and services.

• Utilize GitHub Actions, Pulumi, and Fortigate to facilitate infrastructure as code and enhance network security.

• Engage in team meetings, conduct code reviews, and contribute to documentation efforts.

• Assist in the ongoing development of the Fathom Platform within the SCS environment.

⛳️ Requirements

• A completed bachelor’s degree is required.

• By the start date, you must provide acceptance/enrollment verification, or have completed at least 9 graduate-level credit hours, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Must successfully pass mandatory background checks, which may include drug screening.

• Familiarity with AWS and/or Azure is preferred.

• AWS or Azure Associate Certification, or actively pursuing certification, is preferred.

• A basic understanding of networking, IAM, and cloud security principles is preferred.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills are preferred.
