Seasonal Associate, Cloud Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Assist in the management and governance of AWS and Azure organizations.

• Support projects related to cloud infrastructure, which include VPC design, firewall configuration, and IAM policy management.

• Collaborate with engineering teams to implement and maintain cloud security tools and automation pipelines.

• Contribute to the deployment and oversight of cloud-native products and services.

• Utilize GitHub Actions, Pulumi, and Fortigate to facilitate infrastructure as code and enhance network security.

• Engage in team meetings, conduct code reviews, and participate in documentation efforts.

⛳️ Requirements

• A completed bachelor's degree is required.

• By the start date, verification of acceptance/enrollment or a minimum of 9 completed graduate-level credit hours, ideally in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Must successfully pass necessary background checks, which may include drug screening.

• Familiarity with AWS and/or Azure is preferred.

• AWS or Azure Associate Certification, or actively pursuing one, is preferred.

• A basic understanding of networking, IAM, and cloud security principles is preferred.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills are preferred.
