Search Engine Optimization Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Lead the global strategy for organic growth across all web platforms.

• Develop a Comprehensive Search Strategy: Combine organic visibility with paid SEM efforts.

• Drive the SEO/AEO Strategic Roadmap: Implement strategies to secure a competitive edge.

• Manage global content architecture, which includes localization, internal linking strategies, metadata optimization, and schema markup.

• Demonstrated experience employing an "AI-first" methodology in SEO/AEO operations.

• Assist in the strategic planning of the web content calendar.

• Function as the organic search subject matter expert for the SurveyMonkey brand.

• Serve as the main strategic point of contact for the health of SurveyMonkey's SEO/AEO content.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of professional experience in SEO, Content Strategy, or Digital Product Management within a large-scale, high-growth organization.

• 1-2 years of experience in people management.

• Expertise in translating complex data into actionable insights by creating custom dashboards and extracting deep insights from tools like Tableau and Amplitude.

• Comprehensive understanding of AEO versus SEO, particularly how LLMs interpret "Information Gain," entity relationships, and sentiment.

• Proven success in managing and optimizing content across various formats for improved search rankings and user engagement.

• Significant experience in managing content publication within an enterprise CMS and using SEO research tools (Google Search Console, Ahrefs, or similar).

• Capability to translate intricate "Agentic" or AI behavioral changes into clear business strategies and influence senior leadership.

• A proactive self-starter who transitions from reactive responses to proactive education, driving a competitive advantage in a rapidly evolving environment.
