Scientific Product Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Lead the delivery of features, enhance product quality, and foster continuous improvement for scientific solutions.

• Collaborate closely with Application Scientists, engineering teams, UX designers, and go-to-market professionals.

• Identify and prioritize user-facing challenges, assisting in their resolution.

• Test and refine concepts through prototypes and gather usability feedback.

• Analyze product usage statistics and market indicators.

• Compose clear and actionable user stories along with detailed feature requirements.

• Interact with customer-facing teams to gain insights into user workflows.

• Assist UX/UI partners in maintaining product standards.

• Take ownership of feature delivery from initial scoping through to release.

• Work collaboratively with engineering, QA, design, and GTM partners.

• Participate in discussions surrounding product strategy.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years of experience in SaaS Product Management or a related field.

• A degree in biology or higher.

• Familiarity with UX design tools such as Figma.

• Experience in a scientific or technical product domain.

• Proven track record of contributing to scientific data platforms, workflow tools, ETL, APIs, or data modeling.

• Strong proficiency in Agile methodologies and tools like Jira and Confluence.

• Ability to write clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional requirements.

• Capability to manage trade-offs, navigate uncertainties, and adapt to changing priorities.
